Chapel Tuesday ⛪️ This morning Fruit of the Spirit award recipients were recognized for demonstrating Faithfulness. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness & self-control. Against such things there is no law". Gal. 5:22-23

Today, the First Graders were visited by Solstice Outreach. The students got to enter a portable planetarium and learn about our solar system, galaxy, and planets. The students loved being inside the dome and said they felt like they were in space. They asked great questions and it was a fun learning experience.

🎉📚Celebrating 100 Days of School! 📚🎉

Chapel Tuesday ⛪️ Brittany Rucker, from Cypress Students, joined us at chapel Tuesday morning and brought with her a large bovine tongue. She enlisted the help of our very own Ms. Rucker to demonstrate how her recent lion taming classes would help her tame the tongue. When the endeavor proved unsuccessful, she looked to the Bible for wisdom while DJ Rucker made her debut to drop some Biblical truths on the youths. James 3 tells us, “All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue...”. While we can’t do it in our own strength when we pray and seek God, He helps us to follow the directive found in Ephesians 4:29 that says, “do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”

We are teaming up with the Hilliard Chick-Fil-A to bring you the next spirit night on 2/17 from 5-8pm!
